Milwaukee WI.'s Underground Newspaper The Shepherd Express Had This On The Cover And A Review Of Our Band.
The Unheard Of: "Iwill always Love You" b/w "Erratic Love" (Rocket Reducer Records) Powered by a strong wah-wah flavored guitar sound and a real sence of that 60's psychedelic/blues garage band feel, The Unheard of have released their second single. The Waukesha WI. band captures a good slice of basic rock with each of their songs while adding their own slightly haunting quality. "I will always love You" plays it fairly straight up: a touch of crunchy guitar adds some need updating to classic form while crisp organ riffs fill it out. Guitarist/Songwriter Jim Kavel finds a little more room to strech out his soloing on "Erratic Love" with a more bluesy tone and longer departures. Both songs offer an interesting new take on an old style.

ANTHE RHODES
The Unheard Of - This band really harkens back to the magic of the early great garage bands. Very moody and guitar dense, yet catchy enough to keep them from being to heavy. Everything is well placed, with equal time given to vocals as well as the other elements. This show serves as a single release party. They should have an entire c.d. with singles like this.
I Will Always Love You 45 rpm single on (RRR) Was Released in 1994

2002 Dusted Magazine Says: Burning Garage-Psych release! Moody,Trippy,Fuzzy!!!After Two Acclaimed EP's,it was time for this U.S. combo to put out something meaty. 6-tracks,nicely packaged by Steve Lines (acid tapes, storm clouds,Crohinga Well mag). The Unheard Of have never sounded better.
The Unheard Of Review.
"...For the past 6 or 7 years The Unheard Of have been feeding Us Thier Psychedelic Soul Food via sweet little 7"'s that soon become as scarce as White Panthers do to Thier ltd. edition pressings. The Unheard Of Prefer to draw thier songs into a kind of epic length as they enjoy the longish solo with the distorted guitar and- beware - Jim's acually good at it. Thus songs creep along like a poisonous snake turning the head rightways and leftways but never loosing trace of it's victim. There's even a live version of "The Seeds Pushin To Hard" here , which despite the bad sound quality (for that track only)-(live recording) is a good version going on past the 5 minute mark and realy exploring the room the song gave to guitar solo's. The showpiece is "Destiny" a dragging psych tune that carries on for 9 minutes and ends in a feast of guitar distortion while the Bass keeps plodding along."
